IT Infrastructure Support at KCB Bank
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: MUST NOT BE MORE THAN 10
- Manage Primary and Secondary data centers environmental parameters to ensure all equipment are working as per the required environmental parameter standards.
- Perform Network Management and share daily, weekly and monthly reports on Network performance and report any deviations.
- Provide daily Health check for CPU, RAM and drive utilization in all servers in both Primary and Secondary data centers.
- Ensuring that systems configurations and setups for the IT systems comply with the existing IT policies and standards and ensure that the same standard applies across the entire KCB Bank Tanzania LTD.
- Design, document, install and support server infrastructure, including Exchange, active directory, operating systems, virtualization, collaboration tools and client email support for both Primary and Secondary data Centers.
- Ensure replication of all services between Primary Data Centre and Secondary Data Centre are taking place for BCM purposes and documentation is done accordingly.
- Manage backups for all servers in both Primary and Secondary Data centers as per the backup policy and ensure restoration tests are conducted as per the policy and all configuration for the communication equipment are stored offsite and available for quick recovery.
- Work with IT Security and BCM Manager on Microsoft patch deployment in all servers and workstations across Tanzania and perform vulnerability scan as per the policy and provide plan for remediation for the identified gaps.
- Follow up with vendors on Preventive maintenance (PM) exercises on Servers and client computers and ensure it done as per the contract and the agreed checklist.
- Resolution of all assigned calls on ITSM as per the SLA between IT and business as well as between IT and Central team

Maintain optimum system availability figures for Banking Applications ie T24, ESB, Clearing Systems including MIPS, TACH, TISS, IBCM, Credit Data Beureu and any other emerging applications.
