1.0 INTRODUCTION 

JUMLA AFRICA has 16 warehouses across 15 regions of Tanzania supplying to over 770 stockists. It’s the most trusted distributor, leading in the supply of agricultural and veterinary products.

We are currently operating in: Arusha, Singida, Tabora, Manyara, Morogoro, Iringa, Simiyu, Tanga, Dodoma, Mara, Ruvuma, Kigoma, Songwe, Njombe and Rukwa. 

2.0 POSITION: AGROCHEMICAL PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT MANAGER/ CONSULTANT (1 POST) 

3.0 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  1. Perform product analysis on agricultural pesticides including insecticides, herbicides, fungicides and nematicides’) and synthetic fertilizers
  2. Conduct scientific product need assessment.
  3. Work closely with manufactures
  4. Undertake quality controls
  5. work with the regulator on importation of Agrochemical

  7. Pesticide inspections on pesticide dealers and applicators and complete accurate and detailed reports to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
  8. Inspect and verify agricultural chemical imports.
  9. Promote, negotiate, and suggest new products to improve the market.
  10. New product development.

4.0 QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Diploma or bachelor degree preferably in Agrochemical engineering or any other related program from recognized institute.
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in Agrichemical industry

5.0 LOCATION: ARUSHA, TANZANIA 

6.0 DURATION: (FULL TIME or PART-TIME)
